Chef Nicole Ponseca is a visionary at the intersection of food, culture, and influence, whose pioneering NYC restaurants Maharlika and Jeepney helped ignite the rise of modern Filipino cuisine in America. A James Beard Award–nominated author and founder of the International Manila Food Festival, she continues to champion Filipino food culture globally, positioning Manila as a gastronomic capital and amplifying the voice of the Filipino diaspora on the world stage.
Chef Woldy Reyes, founder of Brooklyn-based Woldy Kusina, blends his Filipino roots with fresh, seasonal ingredients in vibrant, contemporary dishes that celebrate culture and sustainability. Recognized by goop, New York Magazine, and the TODAY Show, he recently published his debut cookbook, In the Kusina: My Seasonal Filipino Cooking, and continues to share his heritage through his Kamayan event series for curious and open-minded food lovers.
