Named after his mother, Chef Calvin Eng opened Bonnie’s in December 2021, where he serves a menu heavily inspired by memories of the Cantonese-American home cooking he enjoyed growing up in Brooklyn. He plates nostalgic bites with a market-driven philosophy, consciously sourcing ingredients from Chinatown vendors and wholeheartedly embracing the culture he once rejected. We are thrilled to welcome Calvin to our Residency Kitchen this May for two dinners exploring the evolution of Cantonese food in America. RSVP to events@palmheights.com.
