Our Palm Heights family is feeling deeply for our neighbours and friends all around the world being impacted by the current health crisis. In an effort to alleviate some stress and help your day-to-day we have selected three of our favourite recipes to support a healthy immune system.

For the three recipes, our health conscious guides at Palm Heights focused on gut, skin, and cell health. We hope you enjoy them. If you have any questions or just feel like saying hello, send a note to We look forward to hearing from you.

– The Palm Heights Family

A simple yet effective all natural cold remedy to use when feeling sick or as preventative medicine. Citrus is rich in Vitamin C, honey is filled with antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

One lemon sliced

One lime sliced

One ginger knob sliced

Local honey

Stack lemon lime and ginger into a small or medium size jar

Add in honey until the jar is filled to the top and fruit is saturated

Store in fridge for at least 2 hours before use

Take a tablespoon by mouth, stir in hot water or in tea. Can be taken daily.

If you ever heard that citrus peels hold high amounts of Vitamin C, you heard correct. This Vitamin C powder is made from only one ingredient: citrus peel! It has a long shelf life and is easy to add into your daily diet.

Peel of one medium orange or grapefruit

Tear peels down to 1.4 inches (the size of a paper clip)

Leave in an open air container, out of  direct sunlight for 48 hours

Blend on high speed for 1 minute

Transfer to an air tight container

Can be stored in an air-tight container in a cool, dark place for 3 months or up to 6 months in the freezer.

Stir into your water, smoothies or juices in the mornings. For skincare, mix a teaspoon  with your favourite clay powder for a Vitamin C boosting face mask. Try it with french green clay powder.
