Ceramic Artist and Tutor
Ronaldo Wiltshire is a London-based ceramic artist and tutor originally from Barbados. Growing up as the son of two potters, Ronaldo was introduced to the artform from an early age, he now creates both functional and decorative ceramic art, often drawing inspiration from the lush countryside of Barbados and his personal experiences.
He runs his own studio called Motions of Clay, in West London, catering to both professional ceramicists and hobbyists. He also teaches part-time at Morley College.
Ronaldo’s Earth Tone Vase Collection is currently showcased at the National Portrait Gallery in London. He gained widespread recognition as a participant in the 2020 edition of Channel 4’s ‘Great Pottery Throw Down’ and was a presenter at the 2024 NCECA conference on ‘Cross Cultural Learning: Clay in the Caribbean.’ His unique style and creative approach have also led to collaborations with several popular fashion brands.
