In January 2020, Palm Heights is honored to have worked along Yola Mezcal to host a most magical of nights with a beachside feast imagined by artist and chef, Laila Gohar. With a shared ethos of celebrating food, art, and music through collaborative events, Yola Mezcal is an all woman owned and operated distillery creating amazing product and festivities promoting other artists and musicians.
The evening began with special guest, Canadian musician MorMor at the back turtle pool, guiding guests to the beach, where a table set against the evening shore. With fires at tow, including a fifteen foot shawarma pit, salted crusted fish, and marble statues dressed in vegetable crudite, Gohar, along with resident fire chef Silver Cousler, eased guests in, coaxing them to interact with the fire pit as a buffet table
