Rebecca “Becky” Downie is a British artistic gymnast who competed at the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She is a double European champion and 2014 Commonwealth Games champion on the uneven bars as well as the 2019 World silver medallist. Becky used her time in PH to focus on her physical conditioning in the bespoke athlete gym and recentre and recover in collaboration with local yoga practitioner Janine Martins. Becky also aims to extend her gymnastics leotard range Double Downies and was excited find creative inspiration by conversing other creative residency talents.
